Mitchell, Denys J. Loeffelbein, Herbert Deppe, Andrea Rau Patient reported outcomes following head and neck cancer are of great importance, given the functional, psychological, and social impacts of the disease and its treatment. In addition, not only is the number of publications on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) increasing in a variety of specialties, but there is also a growing awareness of the potential role of HRQOL in practice.
