Mohs micrographic surgery for basal cell carcinoma on the nose may result in a large defect (Fig 1) posing challenges to achieve a cosmetically acceptable closure. Most reconstruction options for a supra-tip defect result in a fairly large scar across the dorsum of the nose or risk asymmetry in at least the shape of the scar.
