Introduction: The Peer Assessment Rating (PAR) Index is used across the UK to measure outcomes of orthodontic improvement. Clinicians are individually assessed and this data is used as a tool to measure success of treatment. An improvement of 70% can be considered as 'greatly improved', whereas a case which starts with a score of 22 or less cannot be 'greatly improved' as it was not sufficiently severe to start with.
