Sporting Injuries - An Unusual Case Traumatic Schwannoma presenting on the upper lip of a professional footballer - A Case Report

Schwannoma are benign tumours that typical arise from the perinureal Schwann cells responsible for the production of the insulting sheath called myelin. They may develop at any age but are most common in younger to middle age adult .25% to 50% of Schwannomas occur in the head and neck area but only 1% occur intraorally.
