Intro: This study is a review of our experience of thyroid surgery in 340 patients. Conventional thyroidectomy is the most frequent surgical procedure for thyroidal disease. Between 2006 and 2016, 340 patients underwent thyroid surgery under the OMFS team at the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. We review the indications and subsequent pathologies identified following thyroid surgery and observe how this has changed over a 10 year period.
