Dermoscopy beyond dermatology: evaluating its use in plastic and oral and maxillofacial surgery

Recent NICE and Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) guidelines recommend that pigmented lesions are best managed by clinicians with training and experience in dermoscopy. This prompted us to examine how widely it is used in oral and maxillofacial (OMF) and plastic surgery units in the UK.
