The FACE‐Q Skin Cancer Module Addresses Post‐Resection Aesthetic and Quality of Life Outcomes

Abstract

We read with great interest Dobbs and colleagues' systematic review of patient reported outcomes measures (PROMs) for facial skin cancer (1). In this review, the authors describe the psychometric quality of eleven published PROMs. The review specifically assessed for content validity in terms of post‐resection reconstruction and aesthetic outcomes. The importance of patient concerns related to scarring, the associated symptoms and psychological concerns were emphasized as critical for facial skin cancer patients.
