Management of temporomandibular disorders (TMD): a national survey of physiotherapists’ attitudes and training

Introduction/aims: Whilst physiotherapy may form part of a non-surgical approach for the initial management of patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD), information concerning referral rates, services provided, perceived confidence and levels of training is lacking. The aims of this survey were to clarify confidence levels and training of physiotherapists treating TMD.
