Extensive erosion instead of leukoplakia can be the oral manifestation of dyskeratosis congenita

Abstract

The studies (Atkinson et al., 2008, Scully et al., 2012) have provided excellent reviews about oral manifestations of dyskeratosis congenita (DC). However, both mucosal and dental features deserve more attention. The aim of this study was to consolidate the existing literature on DC, and highlight the salient diagnostic features.
