Multiple Solitary Bone Cysts – An Extremely Rare Case

Introduction: A solitary bone cyst [also known as solitary, idiopathic, traumatic or haemorrhagic bone cyst) is a bony cavity with no epithelial lining. It usually contains fluid and small amounts of tissue.1 Typically seen during the first two decades, few cases have been reported in patients over forty years of age. They are characteristically asymptomatic, solitary and unilateral in occurrence. Nevertheless, multiple and bilateral presentations causing cortical expansion have been occasionally reported in the literature.
