Arrhythmias in metastatic melanoma patient treated with targeted therapy and ICD implant

Abstract

Metastatic melanoma is an aggressive and rapidly progressive disease. Heart metastases were shown in over 50% of autopsy. However, these metastases are usually clinically silent and reported in less than 2% of living patients^1.2. There are no specific guidelines for the treatment of cardiac metastases as the therapeutic approach varies with the clinical features of the patient.
