Comparison of clinical efficacy and safety of three kinds of conventional regimens in treatment of infantile upper respiratory tract infection

Abstract: Objective To compare the clinical curative effect and safety of Shuanghuanglian granule,Zukamu granule,heat resistant granule in treating infantile upper respiratory tract infection. Methods One hundred and twenty cases of children with upper respiratory tract infection were diagnosed and treated in the second people's hospital of Futian district from August 2012 to March 2014 as the research objects,and were randomly divided into Shuanghuanglian granule group with Zukamu granule group and heat resistant granule group,each group of 40 cases. The clinical efficacy,adverse reactions and the main symptoms disappear time of the three groups were compared. Results The total effective rate,the incidence of adverse reaction in Zukamu granule group were 97. 5% and 0%,which ere3 significantty better than 75. 0% and 17. 5% in heat resistant granule group( P <0. 05). At the same time,the incidence of adverse reaction in Zukamu granule group was significantly higher than that in Shuanghuanglian granules group( P < 0. 05). In addition,the antifebrile time,cough,nasal and pharyngeal hyperemia symptoms disappeared time in thermal ruyanning decoction group were shorter than that in Shuanghuanglian granules group and heat resistant granule group( P < 0. 05). Conclusion Compared with Shuanghuanglian granules and heat resistant granules,Zukamu granule in treatment of upper respiratory tract infection in children is safe and effective,and is worthy of recommendation.
