The Application of Portable Bedside B Ultrasound in Critically Patients

Abstract: Objective :To explore the advantages of bedside FAST B ultrasound diagnosis in critically patients used by emergency physicians. Methods :80 patients with acute and critically ill were divided into research group(n=42) and control group(n =38) from Jan 2010 to Dec 2014. The B ultrasound examination were examined by emergency physicians using bedside FAST B ultrasound in the research group,while B ultrasound examination were examined by ultrasound doctor at bedside in the control group according to the traditional ultrasound inspection method. The diagnosis accuracy rate and the time from patient arrived at the hospital to completed the ultrasound examination were compared between the two groups. Results :Compared with the control group,the time from patient arrived at the hospital to completed the ultrasound examination was significantly shorter in the research group than that in the control group(P <0.01),but the diagnosis accuracy rate was no significant different,both were 100%.Conclusion :It can short the time from patient arrived at the hospital to completed the ultrasound examination and win the precious rescue time to patients with emergency critically ill to use bedside FAST B ultrasound examination by emergency physicians.
