Abstract: Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of low-field MRI for youth cervical spondylosis,in order to improve the diagnostic level of this disease. Methods One hundred and sixteen patients with cervical diseases aged below 34 years were examined by MR. The diagnostic results were analyzed retrospectively. Results Three hundred and seventy-two degenerative intervertebral disc were found, accounting for 64% of the total,of which 256 backward bulging or protruding, accounting for 69%;lordosis abnormal 94 cases, accounting for 81. 0%,curvature change occurred in the upper cervical segments; vertebral bone hyperplasia around the edge sharpened 53 cases, accounting for 45. 7%. Conclusion Cervical disc degeneration and abnormal cervical lordosis is the main signs of youth cervical spondylosis; low-field MRI can visualize the early cervical disc degeneration and abnormal lordosis,it has an important value in the early diagnosis and treatment of youth cervical spondylosis.
