Effect of Bronchoscopy lavage on acute respiratory distress syndrome

Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical effect of bronchoscopy lavage on acute respiratory distress syndrome.Methods From February 2012 to March 2014,60 patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome in the first people's hospital of Pingjiang were divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine clinical care,while the observation group was given bronchoscopy lavage treatment in addition. After treatment,the therapeutic effects of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results Twenty-two patients in the control group were healed,the effective rate was 73. 3%; while 28 patients in the observation group were healed,the effective rate was 93. 3%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group. The duration of mechanical ventilation,the ICU stay and average hospital stay of the observation group were all significantly shorter than those of the control group,there were significant differences( P < 0. 01).Conclusion Fiberoptic bronchoscopy lavage has more significant effect on patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome and helps to improve the cure rate of patients,with higher safety,so it is worthy of promotion and application.
