One Case of Severe Erythema Multiforme Caused by Aceclofenac Dispersible Tablets

Abstract: A 63-year-old female patient with rheumatoid arthritis and joint pain received aceclofenac dispersible tablets for oral medication(100 mg twice daily). On the second day the patient got erythema papula in her trunk and limbs accompanied by itching and the medication was stopped on the same day. On the next day erythema papula gradually spread to the whole body and some of lesions were fused into a patch. The symptoms gradually eased after anti-anaphylaxis and symptomatic treatments were given. The patient 's erythema in her trunk and limbs became lighter in color and no new skin lesion was found on the 8thday when she was discharged from hospital.
